The Beneteau BVI Fractional Ownership program works like this:

There are a maximum of 10 ownership shares per boat. This means, accounting for maintenance time and concierge detailing, you will be able to select up to 4 weeks throughout the year to use your new Beneteau yacht. You select the weeks you want to visit your yacht through our online scheduling system. You can book up to 18 months in advance for one to three week segments. Your purchase price is only one tenth of the sales price of the yacht and your monthly costs are minimal as all operational costs are also divided by 10. Your yacht will never be chartered, however under the terms of the ownership agreement you can allow your boat to be used by close friends or family provided no remuneration for the time takes place. You can buy as many one tenth shares as you like.
